   Dates, Cost and Application Information
The Cumberland Baptist Association will host a mission trip in partnership with
Chosen Children Ministry during the month of June in 2016.

Cost:                               
The cost of the trip will be $1550.00.  The first deposit of $200.00 will be due Wednesday, February 15 (non-refundable).  The cost covers: round-trip air fare, background check, lodging, food and travel (while in Nicaragua), provided by CCM staff.  There is a   R& R day worked into the schedule.  All meals and other items associated with this day are not covered in the total cost.
 
Application:
We are limited to the number of team members we are able to take each week.   Spaces will be filled on a first come first serve basis. You must be at least 16 years old in order to participate. You may apply with your church or as an individual. If you have any questions concerning the mission trip or Chosen Children Ministries, call the association’s office anytime during operational hours.  The Associational office is open Mon-Thurs. 8:00a.m.- 4:30p.m. and 8:00- Noon on Friday.

Where Will We Stay?
Chosen Children maintains three mission housing compounds.  These are secure areas with a full time guard.  There are shower and bathroom facilities with an on site water purification system.  Large dining facilities and ranchos to relax after ministering all day.

     Your Passport (must have at least 6 month remaining before it expires at the time of your travel)

What Will We Do?
Chosen Children Ministries’ main purpose is to share the truth and hope found in Jesus Christ.  Teams must approach every work whether construction, Bible clubs, sports camps or feedings as an opportunity to share the Gospel with children and adults alike.  Mission endeavors for sharing the Gospel  through CCM include:
     Feedings             
          Nearly half of the population lives on less than $2 a day, while one-third of the children suffer from malnutrition and chronic health problems.
     Construction
     Bible Clubs
     Evangelistic Sports Camp
     Church Planting
 
What to Bring?
     Hat (wide brimmed)
     Modest, cool, causual clothing (knee length shorts, jeans.  For worship;  men-  causal slacks and shirts, ladies- dresses or knee length skirts)
     one piece bathing suits
     Insect repellant/hand clenser
     sunglasses and sunscreen
     Travel size roll of toilet paper
     Windbreaker/poncho
     fanny pack/money belt/back pack
     Comfortable walking shoes/rain boots
     Snacks
     Medications/first aid items
     Bible/ Spanish to English dictionary
     towel and washcloth
     Toiletries
     Camera/small flashlight
 
What Not to Bring
     Knives/slingshots
     Guns or any type of ammunition
     expensive Jewelry
     Offensive material (wording on clothes, music
     halter tops, spaghetti straps, tank tops, low cut tops, midriffs, bikinis, or tight fitting clothes
     No aeresol products
     Alcohol, illegal drugs or tobacco products
